Tell AIA to end design that violates human rights!
Thanks to New York Times architecture columnist Michael Kimmelman, AIA’s cruel and retrograde position in support of execution chamber and solitary confinement design is now well known (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/12/arts/design/architects-prison-death-chamber.html). We have launched a new petition to demand that AIA change its code of ethics to respect human rights and black lives. Please add your signature and share with colleagues. Now is the time for AIA to live up to its stated values.
